Refund & cancellation policy
How to cancel a paid subscription and request a refund. Last updated .
In short
- Paid KaamDesk subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
- To avoid the next charge, ask us to cancel before your next billing date.
- Cancelling stops future billing. It does not by itself mean a refund.
- We review refund requests case by case. Refunds are not automatic or unconditional.
Who we are
Atoice Labs is an independent software business operated as a sole proprietorship. You can contact us at atoicelabs@gmail.com, or by post at SR. No. 43, 43 Privet Drive, E-Commercial, Pune, Maharashtra, India, 411045.
How KaamDesk billing works
KaamDesk has a free plan and paid subscriptions. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, so each payment covers the billing period ahead. Where you set up automatic recurring payments, your subscription is charged each billing period until it is cancelled. The free workspace has no subscription charge, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. Our pricing page explains the difference.
How to cancel
Email atoicelabs@gmail.com and name the KaamDesk workspace you want to cancel. Please do this before your next billing date.
If you can, write from the email address linked to the workspace, so we can verify you quickly. If you cannot access that address, you can still ask us to cancel. We may ask for reasonable details to confirm that you are authorised to act for the workspace.
When you ask us to cancel before your next billing date, we will cancel your subscription with the payment provider promptly and check that the cancellation has taken effect. After a valid cancellation, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further subscription charges follow.
A request we receive on or after a billing date may not stop the charge for that date. If a payment has already been initiated before we process your cancellation, we handle it under this policy and the payment provider’s rules.
The KaamDesk privacy policy (external site) explains how your workspace information is handled.
How we review refund requests
We look at each refund request individually, based on the circumstances, your payment records and how the service was used. Asking for a refund, or cancelling a subscription, does not guarantee one.
Specific situations
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Duplicate payment | We check your payment records. Once a duplicate is confirmed, the extra charge is normally refunded. If you prefer, we can adjust it against a future payment instead. |
| Failed transaction, money debited | We check whether the payment reached us. If it did not, your bank or the payment provider usually handles the reversal, and we help with the details we have. If it did, we activate the service or review a refund. |
| Service activation issue | We try to fix the problem first. If we cannot, we review a refund for the affected period. |
| Technical problem | We investigate and try to fix it. Any refund or credit is decided case by case, and ordinary short interruptions usually do not qualify. |
| Paid plan withdrawn by us | If we withdraw a paid plan during a period you have paid for, we review a refund for the unused period. |
| Access suspended or ended | If we suspend or end your access because you broke our terms, any refund of prepaid time is decided case by case, subject to applicable law, and is not automatic. This does not affect your rights if a suspension was a mistake or was caused by a failure on our part. |
Requests that usually do not qualify
We can still look at these, but they do not usually lead to a refund:
- changing your mind after a billing period has started;
- unused time, or a part-used month, in a period you have paid for, unless we withdrew the plan;
- forgetting to cancel before your next billing date.
How to request a refund
Email atoicelabs@gmail.com and include:
- the email address and workspace linked to your subscription;
- the date and amount of the payment;
- the transaction or payment reference, if you have one;
- what went wrong, and any screenshots that help explain it.
Never send us card numbers, your CVV, your UPI PIN or a one-time password (OTP).
What happens next
We aim to reply to your request within 5 working days. If we need more information, we will ask for it. If we decline a request, we will explain why.
If a refund is approved, we aim to start it within 7 working days, to the original payment method where possible. Banks and payment providers set their own processing times, which are outside our control, so we cannot guarantee when the money will reach you.
NumTrans and future products
NumTrans is currently free, so there is no payment to refund. If we introduce a paid product or plan, we will share its pricing before you pay, and this policy applies unless we tell you that different terms apply to it.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law.
