Who we are

This website and our products are run by Atoice Labs, an independent software business operated as a sole proprietorship. You can contact us at atoicelabs@gmail.com, or by post at SR. No. 43, 43 Privet Drive, E-Commercial, Pune, Maharashtra, India, 411045.

What these terms cover

These terms apply when you use any of the following. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

• The Atoice Labs website.
• KaamDesk, software for RTO agents and automotive businesses, available as a free plan and as a paid subscription.
• NumTrans, a Chrome extension that shows US dollar, euro and pound amounts on webpages in Indian rupees.
• Any future product we offer under the Atoice Labs brand, unless it comes with different terms.

If you use a product on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.

Product-specific terms

A product may have its own terms, such as the KaamDesk terms (external site). Those terms also apply when you use that product. If they conflict with this page about how the product works, the product’s terms apply. For payments, cancellations and refunds, this page and our refund & cancellation policy apply unless the product’s terms expressly say otherwise.

Accounts

This website has no accounts. Some products need one: KaamDesk uses accounts and workspaces, while NumTrans needs no account. Where a product needs an account, you are responsible for:

• giving accurate information and keeping it up to date;
• keeping your login details secure;
• activity under your account, including the actions of people you give access to, unless it results from a failure on our part;
• telling us promptly if you think someone has used your account without permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use our website or products for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
• enter or share information you have no right to use;
• try to access another person’s account or data, or any part of a product you are not authorised to use;
• disrupt our products, or introduce malware into them;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer our products, except where the law allows this.

Intellectual property

Atoice Labs owns or licenses this website and its products, including their software, design, text, names and logos. You may use them as these terms allow, but this does not transfer any ownership to you. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences.

You keep your rights in the information you enter into a product. You allow us to process it as needed to provide, support and secure that product, and as its privacy policy describes or the law requires.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep our website and products reliable, but we do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. They may be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance or because of problems with services we depend on.

We may change, add or remove features, and we may withdraw a product or plan, including a free one. If a change significantly affects a paid subscription, we will try to tell you in advance. If we withdraw a paid plan during a period you have paid for, we will review a refund for the unused period.

Third-party services

Our website and products rely on, or link to, services run by others, such as hosting and cloud providers, the Chrome Web Store, email providers and payment gateways. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services, and we do not control them.

Fees and payments

KaamDesk has a free plan with a limit on the number of cases, and paid subscriptions that are billed monthly in advance. NumTrans is currently free. Our pricing page explains the free limit and how plans and prices are communicated.

Plans and prices for a paid product are shown before you pay. Payments are made through a third-party payment gateway, or another payment method we tell you about before you pay. If you buy a paid plan, you agree to pay the price shown, along with any applicable taxes shown before you pay. Where you set up automatic recurring payments, your subscription is charged each billing period until it is cancelled.

Cancelling and requesting a refund are covered by our refund & cancellation policy.

Product notes

• KaamDesk helps you keep records and generate bills. It does not process payments between you and your customers, and you are responsible for the information you enter and the bills you issue.
• NumTrans shows approximate values to help you read amounts. It is not a currency exchange or payment service, and its rates are not meant for transactions.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our website and products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any promise that they will suit a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit, business or goodwill.

No online service can rule out every risk of data loss, so please keep your own copies of records that are important to you. This does not reduce any responsibility we have under applicable law for loss caused by our own failure.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability or right that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Privacy

Each of these policies explains how information is handled in the place it covers:

Suspension and termination

You can stop using our website or products at any time. To cancel a paid subscription, follow our refund & cancellation policy.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use puts our products or other users at risk, or if the law requires it. Where practical, we will give you notice first.

If we suspend or end your access because you broke these terms, any refund of prepaid time is decided case by case, subject to applicable law, and is not automatic. This does not affect your rights if a suspension was a mistake or was caused by a failure on our part.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our products and business change. When we do, we will update this page and the date at the top. A change takes effect on that date, unless we state a later one.

If a change is material, we will notify customers before it takes effect where reasonably possible, for example by email or in the product. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the affected product and cancel any paid subscription. We do not treat continued use alone as your agreement to a change where applicable law requires your specific consent.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra. This does not override any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law, including any right to bring a claim in another forum or location.
